Church and Mission Trips to Kenya

Can our church group take a mission trip to Kenya?

Yes. Church and ministry groups can join a scheduled departure or book a private group expedition on your own dates. The trip is 10 days on the ground, all-inclusive at $3,950–$4,250 per person, and combines service with Maasai families, cultural time, and a Maasai Mara safari.

How group trips work

Groups of roughly 8 to 16 can take a private departure with dates chosen around your calendar. Smaller groups join an existing expedition and travel alongside other families and solo travelers.

Faith on our expeditions

100 Humanitarians is non-denominational and non-political, and we do not proselytize in the communities we serve. Faith groups are welcome to hold their own devotionals and worship, and Sunday church visits with the community are part of many itineraries.

The service your group does

Garden Towers that feed a family year-round, 1,000-litre rainwater capture tanks, chicken businesses that create income, and HopeKits that keep girls in school. All of it is led by our Kenyan team and requested by the community.

Preparing a group

Group fundraising, flights coordinated through Unrivaled Travel Experiences, travel insurance guidance, the Kenya eTA, packing, and cultural preparation are all covered in calls at 60 and 30 days out.

Frequently asked questions

Can teenagers come on a church trip?

Yes, from age 12 with a parent or guardian in the group.

Can we pick our own dates?

Private group departures can be scheduled around your calendar. Contact the team with your preferred window.

Is the safari part of a mission trip appropriate?

The Maasai Mara days are part of every expedition. Seeing the country your group is serving in — with the same Kenyan guides — is part of understanding it.
