Two travel days bookend eight days on the ground: arrival and orientation in Nairobi, several service days building Garden Towers and delivering water tanks and HopeKits, cultural evenings at the Emparnat Cultural Centre, two days of Maasai Mara game drives, and a closing day of reflection before the flight home.
Mornings start early. Teams build Garden Towers with families, install rainwater capture tanks, set up chicken businesses, and spend time in homes, schools, and the Children's Home. Lunch is around 1pm, dinner around 7pm, with snacks in the jeeps in between.
Evenings at the Emparnat Cultural Centre, a Maasai naming ceremony, storytelling under the Wisdom Tree, beading with the women's groups, and a market visit.
Early departures into the Maasai Mara for full and half-day game drives, picnic breakfasts in the park, and evening returns for dinner together.
