Volunteer in Kenya

How do I volunteer in Kenya?

Join one of our scheduled 10-day expeditions. There is no placement agency, no separate application fee, and no skills required — you pick a departure date, apply, and work alongside our Kenyan team on food, water, health, and income projects. Cost is $3,950–$4,250 all-inclusive on the ground, and US travelers need only the online Kenya eTA (about $32).

Kenya volunteer programs we run

Garden Towers (vertical food gardens that feed a family year-round), 1,000-litre rainwater capture tanks, chicken businesses that create income, HopeKits that give girls up to three years of reusable feminine hygiene supplies, and time spent in homes, schools, and the Children's Home.

What it costs to volunteer in Kenya with us

Every expedition price covers lodging, all meals, in-country transportation, expert guides, Maasai Mara park fees and permits, project supplies, and cultural activities. International flights, travel insurance, and the Kenya eTA (about $32) are separate.

No experience needed

Projects are designed and led by our Kenyan team and Maasai partners. Volunteers provide hands, presence, and funding — not expertise. Travelers have ranged from age 12 to 80.
